How do I delete TAKEN pictures on the blackberry 8900 (Javelin)?

I have a bunch of pictures on my phone, most of which are worthless and are taking up space, I took them all with the blackberry camera. Now, I can’t delete them, and there is one “inappropriate for kids” and I want to give him the phone for his birthday.

you can delete two ways…

from your phone:
- open the media folder
- select pictures
- click on my pictures
- find the pictures and press the delete button
- click yes

from the computer:
- plug in the phone to the computer using the USB cable
- wait for your 8900 icon to show up on your desktop screen
- click on it to open it
- click on the blackberry folder
- find your pictures folder
- find the pictures you want to delete and trash them
- eject and check your phone

* if you stored the pictures on your blackberry device (not the media card), you can do a wipe on your blackberry and this will delete all data and files stored on the 8900 so you can give it away with no worries. to do this:
- open your options
- select security options
- select general settings
- click on the blackberry button
- select wipe handheld
- follow with instructions
^ this will delete ALL data and files stored on the phone and not effect anything on the media card.
